Just thought I'd bring you the news that Mark Knopfler and Chris Rea (their styles often compared) are forming a new supergroup which they are naming DIRE REA. First mixes of the new album need cleaning up a bit. A spokesman said they are too messy so for now it is still in the pipeline.

That griping is a real pain in the arse. I'd wipe the comment - I don't like smears. Did you know that Chris Rea was going to marry a girl called Diana but she DUMPED him. She didn't like the way her name would have PANNED out. Her mates all call her Di. Chris wanted to call their first child Connor.
